Our client is looking for a Design and DTP Specialist responsible for the Creation of visual elements for web, print and screen. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics or Maths Literacy, and a Diploma in Design/Visual communication. Functions: Creation of visual elements for web, print and screen Layout Design: Create and execute layout designs for various print and digital advertising materials including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and web banners. Technical Expertise: Utilize DTP software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) proficiently to manipulate and enhance images, and to ensure high-quality output for both print and digital media. File Preparation: Prepare finalised designs for printing or publishing, ensuring all technical specifications and requirements are met. Creative Input: Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative design concepts that align with client briefs and project objectives. Efficiency and Timeliness: Work efficiently under tight deadlines to deliver projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Adaptability: Be adaptable and responsive to feedback and revisions from clients and team members, ensuring designs meet expectations and requirements. Stay Updated: Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in design and desktop publishing. Skills: Computer Literate Time Management Creative Problem Solver Stress Management Requirements: Grade 12 with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (Mathematics on a symbol E or higher. Maths Literacy on a symbol C or higher) Diploma in Design/Visual communication or similar 2 Years Experience in web and graphic design Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro Extensive experience in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop Work Experience Remuneration: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
