Key Responsibilities Provide leadership to software engineering managers, ensuring cohesive strategies and operational excellence across all engineering teams.Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for the software engineering function, prioritizing innovation, efficiency, and scalability to meet business objectives.Oversee the delivery of complex, industry-leading software solutions, balancing innovation with operational stability and profitability.Collaborate across the organization to ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability that exceed product and customer expectations.Manage the allocation of engineering resources, guiding managers to balance workloads and align team efforts with multiple project priorities.Champion continuous improvement by driving process enhancements, modernizing software architecture, and leveraging advancements in technology to maintain a competitive edge.Foster a high-performing engineering culture by mentoring managers, promoting career development, and building strong leadership capabilities within the engineering teams. Education And Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.10–15 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of:5 years in leadership roles managing software engineering teams.3 years managing managers or leading multiple teams. Specific Knowledge Expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Strong grasp of programming languages, cloud platforms, and modern development methodologies.Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and platform architecture.Proven ability to align engineering strategies with business growth objectives.
