Job Purpose: To achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective supervision of staff members. Ensure that all company policies and procedures and all legal requirements are adhered to.
About You:
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
At least one year's previous experience in a similar role within a Health and Social Care setting.
Experience supporting older people with variable health and social care needs.
Have a successful track record of delivering excellent care standards and clinical risk assessments.
Leadership experience and an understanding of the Care Inspectorate 'quality framework for support services' (2023)
Ability to work on own initiative.

Job Overview:
To positively support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the Northlands Staff Team.
To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, whilst at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager.
To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development to maintain best clinical practice.
To manage the service in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Manager, the Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and within the financial plans agreed with the Registered Provider.
Role-Specific Duties:
Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
The efficient and effective day-to-day management of the human resources involved in providing care through the staff team, ensuring that the required standards are maintained.
Maintaining all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and up to date.
To ensure all staff at the service receive formal supervision and appraisals.
Oversee the duty rota monthly in advance ensuring the correct skills and numbers on duty for safe staffing.
Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
Working with Others:
Develop effective working relationships with all employees within the service.
Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for people in the service.
Personal and Professional Development:
Attend statutory training and any other development as directed by management.
Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Work within the relevant Codes of Conduct, NMC / SSSC.
