Requirements Minimum Education Required (Essential): BCom Marketing Degree Minimum Experience Required (Essential): 5-10 Years Relevant Experience in a senior Sales/Marketing role. Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management and sales strategy Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data driven decision-making. Experience in customer relationship management and building long term business partnerships. Knowledge of health and safety standards and industry regulations. Other: Fluent in Afrikaans and English Valid driver's license Reliable own transport Sober Habits – excellent track record Key responsibilities (but not limited to): Sales Strategy Development and Execution: Contribute to sales strategies to achieve revenue growth across domestic and international markets. Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing sales. Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the business. Marketing and Brand Management: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to promote the abattoir's products and services. Develop digital marketing strategies, including social media, online advertising, and content creation to increase brand awareness. Work closely with internal teams to ensure that marketing efforts align with product offerings and market trends. Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to stay ahead of trends and adapt strategies accordingly. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders. Provide customer service excellence by ensuring the timely resolution of queries, complaints, and requests. Gather customer feedback and insights to improve products and services. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare sales forecasts and marketing budgets to guide business Track and report on sales performance, campaign results, and marketing effectiveness. Analyse market data and consumer trends to identify opportunities for growth. Team Leadership and Development: • Lead and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
