In bolstering WSU's prowess and consistent growth, we are keen to identify and assess a Deputy Executive Dean for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Minimum RequirementsWhile you might hold a PhD in a Health-related field, the minimum requirement is a Master's degree in the same field. You must be registered with an appropriate professional body. Underpinning your academic career will be a postgraduate qualification in either Health Professions or Health Sciences education.
You should showcase a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in the higher-education or health sector, with at least 5 years served as a Head of Department (or higher) in a university or teaching hospital. Your research background should reflect a minimum of 6 research units over the last 5 years, or 4 units over the last 3 years. If not already a Professor or Associate Professor, your credentials must show you are appointable as such at WSU.
You should provide evidence of your experience in undergraduate and postgraduate education (preclinical or basic sciences or nursing) or demonstrate your experience in Problem-based Learning or Community-based Education.
