Job Description Requirements : A relevant undergraduate qualification at NQF level 7 and a post graduate qualification at NQF level 8 as recognized by SAQA8 -10 years' experience at a senior managerial level in the related fieldIn-depth knowledge and understanding of the legislative and regulatory frameworks in the Public Service, the DHA's core business, Security and Counter Corruption mattersFinancial managementKnowledge and information management skillsProblem solving and analysis skillsPolicy development skillsKnowledge of investigation methodologies and analysisComputer literacyWillingness to travel extensively and work extended hours is essential.Duties : The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following specific tasks:Ensuring the development and implementation of a Counter Corruption and Security Strategy, aligned to business needsProvide strategic leadership and expert advice on the interpretation and implementation of the legislation and regulations relating to Counter Corruption and Security mattersAlign and integrate Counter Corruption and Security initiatives, processes and policies to achieve improved efficiency and effectiveness in service deliveryEnsure the development of preventative strategy or measures in order to mitigate identified trends and risksEnsure the successful investigation and analysis of all identified criminal and law enforcement casesOversee liaison with all relevant law enforcement agencies to enable the successful prosecution of all casesEnsure effective resource management within the BranchBe accountable for the duties as sub-programme manager in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) of 1999 and Treasury Regulations
