The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Stellenbosch University (SU) is seeking a Deputy Director for Business Management.
Requirements:

Honour's degree in accounting and completed articles.
At least five years' relevant experience in a senior management environment, with a proven track record in financial management, human resources, and operational management - preferably within the higher education sector.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills, in-depth knowledge of business analysis and methodology, and familiarity with the Public Healthcare framework in South Africa.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business management.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to manage budgets and develop business plans.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
A proactive and innovative approach to improving operational processes.

Recommendations:

Postgraduate diploma in management / master's in business administration (MBA / MBL).
Knowledge of policy and procedures related to university administration.
Relevant experience in student administration at a tertiary institution.
A working knowledge of academic administration systems and ERP systems.
