Key Responsibilities: Invoice & Documentation: Review and approve all invoices and supporting documents prior to Finance processing. Crisis Management: Handle operational crises by activating contingency plans and informing all stakeholders to minimize disruptions. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to transportation laws and regulations. Maintenance Oversight: Manage outputs to optimize the maintenance and repair of vehicles, equipment, and trailers. Client & Vendor Relations: Address and escalate client/vendor queries and complaints. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal stock utilization. Job Card Management: Oversee the closure of open job cards following vehicle repairs. Certification & Safety: Ensure all vehicles possess valid certificates of fitness and enforce strict OHSA compliance. Washbay Operations: Supervise and optimize washbay activities. Security Protocols: Implement comprehensive security measures per approved standards. Audit Compliance: Achieve 80% compliance on internal/external ISO audits and ensure successful client audits. Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain and enhance client satisfaction levels through effective communication and recommendations. Operational Reporting: Prepare and analyze operational statistics, achievements, and corrective action plans. Budget Management: Develop annual departmental budgets and monitor expenditure accordingly. Team Leadership: Assign workloads, foster staff development, and implement performance management strategies.
