Dental Assistant Malelane, Mpumalanga
Our client, a dentist based in Malelane, requires a dental assistant for their practice.
Responsibilities:
Meet and greet patients in a warm and friendly manner
Assisting with dental procedures and preparing the patient file in respect of information e.g., if it is an injury patient information, coding and submission thereof to the receptionist
Cleaning and infection control of dental surgery and instruments
Assisting with sterility and cleanliness of instruments
Setup of treatment equipment and stock
Stock control and ordering of stock
Preparing patients for examination and treatment
Assisting where required with patient records
Assisting where required with reception, booking of appointments and when needed
General admin duties
Qualification and Requirements:
Matric
Dental Assistant Qualification
HPCSA registered
At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar dental assistant position
Any medical patient software system is beneficial
Skills and attributes:
Good interpersonal skills
Good language skills (English and Afrikaans)
Hardworking and great work ethic
Well-presented and professional
Enthusiastic and energetic
Team player
Ability to keep up in a high paced and demanding environment
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 07h30 - 16h00
