Safari JOBS is searching for a Demi Chef De Partie for a very busy, well-established, premier 5* restaurant situated in a breath-taking area of Stellenbosch.
The Demi Chef De Partie is responsible for amazing the patrons of the establishment with excellent cooking according to the relevant recipes and specifications. The goal is to expand the clientele base and reputation to ensure long-term success.
Due to the live-out nature of this position our client can only consider applications from Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek, Somerset-West, and the Northern Suburbs.

Clear criminal record and excellent employment track record;
Culinary Certificate/Diploma
Preferably 2 - 3 years previous experience as a Demi Chef De Partie
Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele

Maintain health, hygiene and safety requirements;
Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions;
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment;

Ensure that the Head chef is informed of ingredient orders;
Ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time;
Ensure that all dishes are correctly garnished, portioned, sized and are presented on the prescribed serving dish in the prescribed manner;
Optimizing the cooking process;
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

CTC monthly remuneration: NEG. DOE & qualifications. Please advise your salary expectation upon application;
