As a Demi-Chef De Partie, you will play a vital role in our client's kitchen team. You will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your assigned section while supporting the Head Chef and other team members in delivering high-quality cuisine. This position requires an individual with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain high standards of health, hygiene, and safety at all times.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and promotional offerings.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Keep the assigned area clean, organized, and tidy at all times.
Communicate effectively with the Head Chef regarding ingredient orders and stock levels.
Ensure all mise-en-place is freshly prepared and ready ahead of service.
Ensure that all dishes are correctly garnished, portioned, and presented according to the prescribed standards.
Optimize the cooking process and contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations.
Foster a cooperative and positive work environment, maintaining smooth and friendly cooperation among the kitchen team.
Requirements:
A Culinary Certificate or Diploma.
Preferably 2-3 years of experience as a Demi-Chef De Partie or similar role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong customer service orientation with a professional and approachable demeanor.
Ability to maintain a positive working relationship across all departments.
Comfortable interacting with distinguished clientele and handling high-pressure situations.
High levels of honesty, flexibility, and accountability.
Outgoing, friendly, and helpful with a professional attitude.
Punctual, self-disciplined, and able to manage time effectively.
