Demand Planner With Fmcg Experience

PurposeThe purpose of the position is to create, maintain and deliver product knowledge strategy within the scope, time and budget in a cost-effective manner.Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: PlanningOrganize and prepare for demand planning process ForecastingManagement of statistical forecasts.Perform new product volumes forecasting.Developing the statistical forecasts for Critical Care products and improving forecast accuracy.Utilizing analytics to identify forecasting/demand issues and their root causes, then leverage 6-sigma techniques to drive process improvements Long term inventoryGlobal Supply Chain Portal (GSCP) supply plan review.Channel Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) analysis.Issue resolution to customers ON Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) and Continuous Planning Forecast and Replenishment (CPFR) meetings.Perform Estimated Quotation Limit (EQL) model management.Supporting the Critical Care S&OP process.Continuously developing tools, reports and analytics necessary to support the Critical Care Supply Chain organization.Analyzing business/customer requirements, identify opportunities, develop project plans, and spearhead the implementation performance improvement projects.Supply ChainReportingCompile a progress report on a weekly/monthly basis.Analyse the market data, sales figures and monitor results to ensure profitability/revenue achieved.Related job requirements / qualificationsTechnical Skills: AnalyticalStrategic approach to resolve challengesProblem solving skillsProject managementIn Depth Product and Retail Business KnowledgeMS Office Suite (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Generic Competencies: Quantitative and business analysis skillsKnowledge of marketing principles and practicesProject management skillsA strong work-ethicAnalytical skills essentialExcellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skillsAble to challenge the team and ensure all deadlines and targets are metIn depth knowledge of supply chain processesStrong organizational abilityEffective communication with all relevant parties (team player)Proactive, Innovative, time managementPresentation skills (Specialist within this function)Customer service orientationRequired Experience2 - 5 years' experience in a similar position.Previous product management or related experience.Knowledge of Supply Chain/ Marketing management.Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). All at advanced level.FMCG experience will be an advantage.Educational requirementsRelevant Degree
