Minimum requirements:Grade 125+ years operations & logistics experienceAdvanced Computer literacy (Excel)Supply Chain Qualifications (optional but desired)Analytical and problem solvingPeople and team managementPlanning & ProactiveCommunicationCustomer service orientatedDrive continuous improvementAttention to detail and accuracyRole and responsibilities:Ensure sufficient raw and packing materials are procured to meet expected production demand.Ensure daily production planning to meet customer requirements and communicate shortages to relevant parties.Demand Planning done accurately to ensure that correct product and packaging available for loading. Model stock Managed for Maize and Diverse stock.Ensure all vehicles are optimally routed.Deliver a flexible, reliable, and efficient inter-company transport service for inbound and outbound deliveries by utilizing the routing program to optimize all requirements while considering operational constraints and service level commitmentsManaging and planning the inventory supply to meet customer demandOptimize transport routing to minimize travel time and distance, maximize vehicle utilization, and account for all relevant constraints and variablesIntercompany ordering on materials to be planned and executed in time.Generating pick slips in time prior to loading for fast and effective turn-around time of vehicles.Open communication to all stakeholders on requirements for the day.
