Demand Planner

Responsibilities
• Achieve stock holding targets across the different product groupings.
• Designing and generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports.
• Continuously improving forecasting techniques, methods, and approach.
• Measuring the impact of forecast accuracy.
• Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operation procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
• Conduct current and future forecasting analysis.
• Ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed.
• Analyze and assemble all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast.
• Recommend adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
• Prepare, report, and communicate forecast, inventory, and replenish quantities measurements to senior management.
• Plan monthly and weekly production.
• Update weekly and daily management reports.
• Co-packers stock planning and work schedule.
• Strategic and operational involvement in all aspects of demand planning functions including driving down costs.
• Effectively utilize in-house systems for data analyses and reporting.
Key Skills

Experienced in the Sales & Operational process.
Strong knowledge of Demand & Inventory Planning processes.
Solid forecasting and planning knowledge, understanding, and experience.
Strong analytical, negotiation skills, and customer service experience.
ERP & Forecasting systems knowledge (systems driven individual).
Ability to adapt to change and multi-task.
Flexible: working overtime when required.

Qualifications
• Matric.
• Relevant Qualification.
• 5+ years of Relevant experience.
