Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure sufficient raw and packing materials are procured to meet expected production demand.Ensure daily production planning to meet customer requirements and communicate shortages to relevant parties.Demand Planning done accurately to ensure that correct product and packaging available for loading. Model stock Managed for Maize and Diverse stock.Ensure all vehicles are optimally routed.Provide a flexible, reliable and efficient transport, in and outbound delivery service by routing all requirements, through the routing program, factoring in all operational constraints and service level requirementsManaging and planning the inventory supply to meet customer demandTransport routing to minimise route time or distance, whilst maximising vehicle fill and factoring in all operational constraints and service level requirements to achieve optimal utilizationIntercompany ordering on materials to be planned and executed in time.Generating pick slips in time prior to loading for fast and effective turn-around time of vehicles.Open communication to all stakeholders on requirements for the day.RequirementsGrade 12 qualification5+ years in operations & logistics in FOOD MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENTAdvanced Excel skillsSupply Chain Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective team management skillsProactive and customer service-orientedDrive for continuous improvementAttention to detail and accuracy
