Delivery Manager PositionIf you are an intermediate to senior Delivery Manager, with project management experience and a curiosity that extends beyond that, we have an opportunity for you! We are looking for a team player to join our Product team. As the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless execution and delivery of IT projects, serving as an IT Project Manager and Scrum Master. Your primary focus will be on overseeing multiple project lifecycles and managing internal staff, client, and 3rd party stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of features.Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Project planning:Assign tasks to various internal/external stakeholdersEstimate timelines and costs involvedCommunicate project plan to necessary stakeholdersMaintain and update the project planClient and 3rd Party Relationship Management:Identify all stakeholders involved in the projectUnderstand client and 3rd party relationship needs and expectationsEnsure signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with 3rd parties are obtainedEnsure effective communication between client/3rd parties and Zapper staffProvide timely feedback to clients/3rd parties regarding project status updates and timelinesEffectively manage client and 3rd party relationshipsAssist with stand-ups and sprint planningAssist with maintaining the Azure boardsLead retrospectives to identify operational blind spots and implement necessary improvementsIdentify areas for improvement in the development processes to assist the team to improve their velocityEngage other squads where there are interdependencies or assistance requiredObtain test credentials and/or test data from 3rd parties to facilitate effective testing processesIdentify and communicate any risks affecting the team's ability to deliverAssist with unblocking any issues the team facesChange management:Conduct thorough business change impact assessments and ensure necessary changes are implementedEnsure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with 3rd parties are createdEnsure risk and compliance requirements associated with IT projects are metEnsure support team's requirements are metEnsure banking team's requirements are metEnsure various internal teams have been trained on the new product solutionEnsure Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) have been createdEnsure product information sheets and training materials have been createdProvide project status updates to marketingRelease Management:Ensure that testing has been adequately coveredEnsure sign-off is obtained from 3rd partiesAttend Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams for effective release planningFacilitate BETA testing/go-live processesPost notices of new releases in the Zapper 'Release Notifications' Teams chatAssist with release notesDesired Experience & QualificationProven experience in IT project management and Scrum Master rolesSolid understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum frameworkStrong understanding of the software development lifecycleAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneouslyAbility to prioritize tasks effectivelyAbility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentRequired ExperienceFintech experience is beneficialPersonal AttributesSelf-motivated and drivenTakes ownership and initiativePassionate and adaptableCollaborative problem solverDetail-orientedAbility to build collaborative relationshipsFast learnerEnjoys challengesPackage & RemunerationBasic Salary: R55,000 - R80,000 per month
