The Waste Control division currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and organized Debtors' Team Leader to join their finance team.
The position requires an efficient individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
The debtors' team leader`s primary purpose is to provide guidance, instruction and leadership to the team to ensure that the accounts department meets its deadlines.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Monitoring outstanding Waste Control debtPlanning and implementing action to recover outstanding and overdue debtsProviding guidance and support to team members to ensure efficient workflowHandling and resolving customer queries and complaintsInvestigating and resolving invoicing queriesCreating and maintaining reports for managementProviding regular updates on departmental performanceAccount reconciliationsInternal auditing and ensuring completeness of source documentsOverlooking the capturing and invoicing processesAd hoc reporting as requiredQUALIFYING EXPERIENCEGrade 12 or equivalentDiploma in accounting or financial managementMinimum of 3-5 years' experience as team leader in a debtors department, preferably in a fast paced and high pressure environmentKnowledge and/or experience working on Accpac will be an added advantageAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite, particularly in Excel for data analysis and reportingQUALIFYING ATTRIBUTESExceptional leadership and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem solving and decision making abilitiesDetail orientated with a focus on accuracyMust be able to work with minimum supervisionSelf-motivated an results orientatedAttention to detailMust be a team playerTime management and organizational skillsDisplay a professional work approachLogical and detail orientatedExcellent standards of executionTrustworthy and reliableThe ability to detect and solve problemsAbility to meet deadlines and deliver results (time management)
