Minimum RequirementsMatric & Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field (Preferred)At least 5 years of experience in credit control & 3 years' experience in leading a team of Credit ControllersProficient on MS Office SuiteResponsibilitiesManage Credit Controllers to ensure effective processing and collection of paymentsEnsure all Credit Controllers perform credit applications & collate information to enable final assessment of credit applicationsEnsure debtor reviews / increased limits & collate information to enable reviewsMaintain debtor accounts on ERP systemSend out monthly statements to Customers, ensuring that Customers email address was kept updatedCollect overdue debts according to credit policyEffectively deal with accounts queries and reconciliationsPrepare debtor reports for all StakeholdersPerform credit control activitiesEnsure adherence to policies and procedures by all team membersTrain team membersRecommend and help formulate policies and procedures to improve follow-up operationsIdentify trends and initiate recommendations for change to Accounts Receivables ManagerExercise judgment to make decisions for select methods and techniques for obtaining solutionsAssist Internal and External Auditors with debtors related enquiriesEnsure ERP system is kept updated with their requirements in Customer maintenanceTO APPLY:Only if you do meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
