Debtors Controller - Key Accounts

Job Purpose:To ensure timeous collection of payments, the correctness of the individual key accounts and communication with customers regarding the entries on their accounts. This role will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.Minimum requirements:Grade 12 / Matric / EquivalentBCom degree in Finance, Business or Diploma in Accounting advantageousMinimum of 1 – 2 years relevant working experience and knowledge of finance / administrative and /or similar systemsProficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel - intermediate to advancedBasic NAV experience (Highly Advantageous)Responsibilities:Debtors & Accounts:Assist with preparing monthly accountsPayments:Responsible for following up of outstanding paymentsResponsible for entries for rebates and creditsCollection of paymentsDebtors:Capturing of the necessary entries on the Debtors accountsResponsible for issuing of debtor's statementsResolve all problems relating to debtor's accountsRaising of disputes on key accounts of debtorsProvide weekly reports on key accounts to Finance and SalesKey Skill and Competencies:Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple issues simultaneouslyAbility to work independentlyGood communication and numerical skillsGood organisational and interpersonal skillsDisciplined and time consciousExperienced in dealing with customers
