Debtors Controller (Contract)

My client is seeking a dedicated Debtors Controller to join their dynamic team.
This is a fixed term 6-month contract role based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.Key Responsibilities:Managing the debtors book, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments.Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies with efficiency and professionalism.Maintaining accurate records of all interactions and transactions.Preparing monthly reports on debtor status and collection efforts.Collaborating with the finance team to improve processes and ensure alignment with company policies.Implementing effective credit control procedures to minimize bad debt.Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payment.Requirements:Matric qualification.Proven experience as a Debtors Controller.Experience working in a Shared Services Company.Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt recovery.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
