Debtors Clerk

Minimum Requirements:Grade 12Accounting / Financial tertiary qualificationAt least 5 years of experience dealing with debtorsDebtors / financial experience dealing with major retailers (PnP, Checkers, Spar, Woolworths)Bookkeeping and cashbook experience Duties and Responsibilities: Daily reconciliation of incoming payments against debtor age analysis.Process cash and accounts payments, allocating funds as per customer reconciliations.Manage petty cash and perform monthly reconciliations.Open new accounts upon credit approval.Monitor account activity to ensure compliance with credit limits and customer terms.Identify and report high-risk accounts.Balance intergroup customer accounts.Follow up on overdue payments to maintain target debtor days.Send monthly statements to customers with due or overdue accounts.Maintain accurate and organised filing systems for all received documentation PLEASE NOTE: Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
