Debtors/Costing Clerk Job Specification – Crusaders CorporateWe are looking for an experienced Debtors Clerk who will also be able to compile accurate costing for Inbound Shipments.
The Debtors Clerk will be responsible for the managing of the debtor's book with approximately 300 stores.Accurate estimated and final costings are prepared regularly with accuracy and completeness for approval by the Group CEO.To be successful in this role you should ensure that the debtor's book is closely monitored for optimal cash flow efficiencies.
Due to the dual responsibilities of the role, you must be able to prepare both estimates and final costings with a very high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Sending out regular debtor's statements.Updating of cash book processing in NetSuite for debtor's collectionsSending out regular debtors ageing to internal staff and managementProcessing of credit notes to customers after approval by senior managementSending out Ad Hoc reports relating to debtorsCalculation of interest on overdue debtor's accountsSending out daily, weekly and monthly management turnover reportsDistributing staff accounts on debtor's book to relevant peopleDebtors Master maintenance in NetSuiteAd-hoc invoicing as requiredMonitoring of all berthed shipments for outstanding costingsPreparation of accurate and timely estimate and final costings & processing on NetSuiteRequesting final clearing and shipping documentsAssistance during Year End auditsAny ad-hoc requests from the Accountant, Group Financial Manager and CEORequirements:Extensive experience with debtor's collections and maintenance of a clean debtor's bookProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially excel, advance Excel experience is a requirement) and working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERPS systemsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong math and analytical skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsMinimum qualification: Matric and qualification in Credit Control or similar qualificationPrevious experience in costing environment specifically with the understanding and preparation of costingsPersonal accountability and commitmentAttention to detailCan-do attitudeFlexibleAbility to work within a teamGood organisational and planning skillsAble to cope in a highly pressurised environment Package: Basic R 15,000 – R16,000 plus company benefits, depending on qualifications and experience.
