Job Responsibilities: Dealership Network Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand the dealership network in key regions across South Africa. Identify high-potential locations and partners for new dealership openings, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Market Research and Site Selection: Conduct thorough market research to assess local demand, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Select optimal dealership sites based on market potential, accessibility, and demographic trends. Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective dealership partners. Negotiate terms and agreements with new dealers to ensure long-term profitability and alignment with company standards. Dealership Performance Monitoring: Establish performance targets and KPIs for dealerships, tracking sales, customer satisfaction, and overall efficiency. Provide guidance and support to dealership partners to help them meet sales targets and maintain brand standards. Network Expansion and Optimization: Oversee the expansion of the dealership network, ensuring that new dealerships meet operational standards and customer expectations. Optimize existing dealership operations for efficient sales processes, after-sales services, and compliance with company guidelines. Training and Support for Dealership Teams: Develop training programs for dealership staff to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques. Offer ongoing support and feedback to dealership teams to maintain high performance and consistency across the network. Compliance and Brand Alignment: Ensure all dealerships adhere to the companys policies, legal regulations, and brand guidelines. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain consistency in operations and customer experience. Transition to New Role: Prepare for a transition to a new role upon completion of the dealership network development phase. The new position will be at the same level, focusing on a different functional area that utilizes skills and experience gained during network development. Support a smooth handover of dealership management to operational teams, ensuring ongoing success and stability. Reporting and Feedback to Senior Management: Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of dealership network development, highlighting challenges and future opportunities. Offer strategic recommendations for future network growth and development based on market trends and dealership performance.
