REQUIREMENTS
National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Human Resources from a recognized tertiary institution
Postgraduate qualification in Education (preferably in the Occupational Directed Education, Training and Development Practice (O.D. ETDP))
A minimum of 5 years at a supervisory level
Experience in training needs analysis and financial and business management in the motor industry
Experience with the administration of Seta's Skills Development Programs and Learnerships would be beneficial
Experience in developing metrics, measuring results and collating management information reporting
Experience in general procurement practices (tender management) and vendor management through contracts and/ or service level agreements
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Analytical and conceptual ability to plan and execute the SSA strategy for the academy
Business management acumen and understanding of financial principles
Advanced process management and systems orientation skills, understanding core business drivers and the effects thereof including effective planning and organizing skills
Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to drive business and customer value-creation in different countries
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement an integrated People Management Strategy for the Group Dealer Network in sub-Saharan Africa aligned to group and international standards and manage training facilities that service the Dealer Network in all regions throughout sub-Saharan Africa identified markets
Assisting in defining and coordinating the annual Supervising the Dealer Training Academy BPO supplier in delivering the targeted training and certification within the group's areas of responsibility in sub-Saharan Africa including Namibia and Botswana
Participation in the Training Academy Strategy development and supervision of the annual compilation of service delivery prospectus and schedules, per Brand and approve the release and communication of the same
Manage the procurement process for the Training Academy and the definition, and compilation of the specifications of the new service providers to collate RFQs for business needs
Develop the Training Academy services and value proposition to the dealer network in sub-Saharan Africa and communicate through NSO leadership, brand representatives, and dealers in different countries
Participation in the monthly finance review with NSO controlling and documenting outcomes for the sub-Saharan content
Key performance indications and measures in conjunction with the group, NSO brands, and the Training Academy
Supervise and support the BPO supplier with the management of the core systems for the Training Academy especially the Learning Management System (LSM), assessments and systems, and training systems from a sub-Saharan perspective
Overseeing the operations and Governance manuals to ensure data management, data integrity, and performance KPI reporting are adhered to
Manage and coordinate allocated projects according to standard project management principles
Support sub-Saharan dealer network personnel competence through key academy activities
