Experience & Qualification:
Essential:
Grade 12 / Matric/Senior CertificateTransport Management or Supply-Chain / Logistics Degree or DiplomaMinimum 3 Years Management experience in Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Environment.Computer Packages – Microsoft Office Responsibilities: Ensure optimal planning and forecasting of department resources to meet the day-to-day strategic objectives.Ensure that the system is monitored and maintained using the management tools available on SAP EWM.Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximise operational efficiencies.Ensure that all resources, including electronic equipment and materials handling equipment, are maintained and in safe operating conditions.Manage shelf life to ensure no short dated and/or expired stock is dispatched to customers.Monitor and optimise resources and queues as per operational requirements.Ensure effective management and adherence to GWP, SHE program and OHS act.Prevent and act on security or risk issues and ensure that risks are dealt with proactively.Identify supplier issues that impact required financial objectives and address them at the appropriate level internally and externally.
