Support the plant towards SLA compliance• Lead and manage the laboratory method validation to assure that methods used are fit for purpose and met customer requirements.• Implement, manage, maintain, laboratory practices ensuring that laboratory targets are achieved and confidence in the product quality and customer satisfaction is sustained.• Assess laboratory staff against test method requirements in order to provide assurance of the results generated.• Propose the annual laboratory operational expense budget ensuring that the plan is aligned to the overall business expectations and is cost effective.• Develop long term capex plans that ensures the laboratory's sustainability and uninterrupted quality control service to customers.• Develop team capability through facilitation, knowledge & skills transfer while fostering team effectiveness (staff mentoring, career development, staff retention & succession planning)Job ResponsibilitiesJob Advert Closing Date: All job adverts close five days after date posted.Engen's approved Employment Equity plans and targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.We welcome applications from people with disabilities.
