Dba - Senior Technical Engineer

Do you enjoy Database Administration? We can't wait for you to join our team! In this role you are going to Design, Plan, Configure, Support, Secure and Maintain the availability, integrity and performance of the Bank's databases environment. You will manage all database changes in all environments.

You will also ensure that the database environments are adequately backed up and replicated to ensure limited impact in the event of a failures and to ensure that we can achieve the Disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
To succeed in this role you will need: Microsoft SQL serverNational Diploma in Information Technology and / or BSC Degree in Information TechnologyMicrosoft and / or other Database related CertificationsMinimum 5 years in Database AdministrationAt least 1-2 years' experience in a Senior Database administration position in a large environment.Minimum 5 years in Database AdministrationThis position is advertised in line with our commitment to Employment Equity.
