The Database Administrator (DBA) will manage and maintain the organization's databases.
The DBA ensures the database environment is reliable, secure, and efficient, supporting the organization's operational needs and strategic goals.
Responsibilities Database Design and Implementation Database Maintenance r Security Management Troubleshooting and Support Capacity Planning and Scalability Documentation and Reporting Disaster Recovery Database Migration and Upgrades Install, configure, and maintain database environment Patch db systems and software Monitor and manage DB backups Manage the availability, growth and performance of DB systems (incl future requirements) Design and implement methods of upgrading DB solutions Qualifications DB Administrator (CompTIA DataSys+, CompTIA Data+ or similar) 5 years of database administration experience with Microsoft and Open-Source operating environments, troubleshooting, security principles.
5 years DBMS experience, application and web technologies, identity management, governance, and compliance practices.
Must have working experience with server upgrades.
5 years of experience providing input on improving availability and configuring monitoring of DB systems.
5 years of experience performing system administration adhering to typical governance controls, including, configuration management access management, change control, incident management, problem management, inventory management, etc.
