About the Role:We are seeking a talented Intermediate Database Administrator with strong expertise in SQL and database management. As a vital member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and high performance.Key Responsibilities:Design, install, and configure SQL databases to meet company needs.Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.Monitor and ensure high availability and performance of database systems.Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement database solutions.Implement and maintain database security measures to protect data.Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.Manage database replication, clustering, and failover procedures.Ensure databases meet compliance requirements and industry standards.Required Skills:Proven experience as a Database Administrator (3+ years preferred).Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.Experience in database security best practices.Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.Good understanding of data modeling and database design principles.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Certifications in database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Oracle DBA).Experience with cloud-based databases and data replication technologies.Lets connect on LinkedIn!
