Data Streaming Platform Engineer (Entry)

Key Competencies:Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Kotlin, Java or JavaScript or Python or C#ITIL certification2-3 years experience with microservices, cloud, or container architectures, such as DockerExtensive experience with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWSScrum and KanbanAgile Working Model (AWM) CharterApache KafkaGitOps technologies (ArgoCD or Flux)Extensive experience with deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes clustersKey Responsibilities:Manage and operate business-critical cloud services within a shift model.Monitor and maintain software reliability using automation tools.Handle incidents and changes according to service level agreements.Collaborate with the team to improve services throughout the software development lifecycle.Manage projects and processes within an Agile framework.Support product owners in shaping the product roadmap.Elicit, document, and manage requirements.Identify and manage project risks.Qualifications:Postgraduate degree in Information TechnologyStrong programming skills in at least one language (Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#)Experience with microservices, cloud, and container architecturesFamiliarity with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Understanding of DevOps practices and ITIL processesDesired Skills:Experience with event streaming (Apache Kafka)Expertise in GitOps technologies (ArgoCD, Flux)Proficiency in Helm for Kubernetes deploymentsKnowledge of data modeling and database technologiesUnderstanding of cloud securityBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologiesCollaborative and supportive work environment
