Responsibilities:Operate business-critical services in cloud environments, adhering to agreed hours of operation within a shift model.Utilise automation tools to monitor software reliability.Manage incidents and changes per Service Level Agreements.Collaborate with the team to enhance services across the Software Development Life Cycle.Manage projects and processes.Support Agile Product development and User Story management.Aid the Product owner in shaping the Product roadmap.Facilitate coordination between development and support environments.Assist with business case development.Elicit, translate, and document requirements; plan and monitor progress.Identify and manage risks effectively.Requirements:Mastery in Coding: Proficient in Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.Architectural Genius: Hands-on experience with Microservices, Cloud, or Container Architectures (think Docker!).Cloud Savvy: Skilled in developing solutions on public cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.Container Maestro: Expertise with Container Orchestration Platforms like Kubernetes.Backend Brilliance: Solid background in creating backend applications and services.Design Wizard: Experience in Architecture and Interface Design.Agile Advocate: Familiar with agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.CI/CD Pro: Comfortable with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools (GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible).Business Aligned: Solutions must align with business goals.Tech Integration: Understanding of integration across various technologies.Agile Worker: Ready to take on additional responsibilities as per the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.Advantageous Skills:Knowledge of event streaming (Apache Kafka).Experience with GitOps technologies (ArgoCD, Flux).Proficiency with Helm for Kubernetes.Skills in Data Modelling and Database Technologies (Postgres, Influx, etc.).Expertise in securing cloud environments.DevOps experience on a standby roster.Incident, Change, and Problem Management skills.ITIL certification.Understanding of BI Tools.Top-notch communication skills and teamwork abilities in a distributed setting.Experience: Between 5 - 7 Years
