Are you someone who can: Create test plans and test cases for the functionality of a system to prevent errors in the live system.Use analytics and data to solve business problems and change the world.Learn new statistical and coding techniques to find superior analytical solutions for an ever-changing environment.Dig deep within themselves to continuously remain curious, challenge the status quo and try to grow themselves to a level that is almost out of reach.Build sound relationships based on trust, openness and respect.Believe that without you, the property-analytics function won't be the best in the industry.You will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a qualification in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar.Have 2+ years as a Data Scientist doing analytical and modelling work.Have experience in Property Analytics (highly beneficial).Have coding experience in SAS, SQL and Python (a bonus).The role will perform the following functions: Ability to understand different modelling approaches as well as interpret modelling outputs. Capable of communicating these to non-technical stakeholders as well.Develop, enhance and promote predictive property-related models using SAS or other appropriate software.Research into best practices regarding the development, maintenance and use of statistical models for property-related business needs.
