Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Data Science Manager who will be a Data Solutionist to join our team. This role will focus on leveraging advanced programming skills and business insights to manage and optimize our data processes and projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and a proven ability in delivering solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize scripts and data workflows using SQL, SAS, Spark SQL, Python, and Java.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.Drive data products from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.Perform data analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.Maintain best practices for data management and quality assurance.Ensure adoption and localization of appropriate model building policies, standards, frameworks, and governance processes.Establish goals and strategies for area of accountability in collaboration with senior data analytics management.Ensure ethical usage of information that complies with privacy and sensitivity classification.Understand and ensure implementation and adherence to Privacy business requirements, legislation, and policy.Ensure reporting of any Information Privacy Incidents and drive resolution of Privacy and Protection Audit.Provide and use data and analytic insights to improve customer experience through a better understanding of the customer context to identify monetization opportunities.Manage analytics team in the creation of high-quality analyses for all functions of the business.Create tactical plans for achievement of outputs/deliverables in collaboration with business stakeholders.Drive team performance of analytics solutions and enhance data systems.Analyze available data to identify information commercialization opportunities.Ensure analytics productionization in the approved architecture.Analyze information requirements and quality of data.Oversee the appropriate manipulation and analysis of data.Integrate analytics into operational processes to improve efficiency and client experience.Ensure development of core analytical capabilities or model libraries.Manage overall project dependencies and long-term prioritization of analytical needs.Serve as SME for analytics.Define business questions and appropriate analytics models.Address business problems through robust underlying analytics.Ensure accurate development and application of analytical algorithms.Create team tactical plans for achievement of outputs.Ensure governance and compliance rules are followed.Maintain ownership and oversee the implementation of models.Monitor output and accuracy of models.Ensure documentation and auditing of relevant models and processes.Provide input into business strategies through data analysis.Lead business through efforts that drive performance.Enable business unit to understand its own health and identify opportunities for optimization.Create new data-driven approaches for generating business insights.Ensure validation and interpretation of analytical results.Collaborate across the business to ensure proper use of data.Model and drive a data-driven culture.Manage people by executing management responsibilities.Prevent wastage and identify process improvements.Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.Implement and provide input into governance and compliance procedures.Build relationships for managing expectations and sharing knowledge.Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain work support.Requirements: Proficiency in programming languages, specifically SQL, SAS, Spark SQL, Python, and Java.Strong understanding of business operations and stakeholder management.Experience in project management methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a data-focused role (e.g., data engineer, data analyst, data scientist, etc.).Experience with data engineering and data product development.Job DetailsApplication Closing Date: 03/10/24
