Data Migration Consultant - ROA - STS (Source to Settle)Job Openings Data Migration Consultant - ROA - STS (Source to Settle)About the job Data Migration Consultant - ROA - STS (Source to Settle)Key purpose:As a data migration consultant, you'll be responsible for assisting with source to settle (S2S) and source to settle data migration projects.
You will also be expected to assist in the recovery of our databases.
In this role, you will work closely with your project manager and other team members on the day-to-day running of each project as well as liaising between departments when required.Duties and responsibilities:Responsible for the Data Mapping and Migration of the Vendor Master, Purchasing Agreements as well as Open Purchasing DocumentsExperience in Procurement as well as Product CostingUnderstanding SSIS packages as well as the D365 DMF (Data Migration Framework) with Batch handlingManage, facilitate, and drive the extraction criteria, data cleansing, object mapping, field mapping and value mapping for the ETL processManage, facilitate, and drive the filling in of the templates by the Business for the Construct processFacilitate Issue resolution where there are load errors (Defects logged in DevOps)Status reporting per functional area as and when neededEngage with business resources per stream to resolve data queriesQualifications and experience:Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field required5 year of experience in data analytics preferred8 years of experience in data migration or data extraction/analysis preferred.5years of experience in a multi-location environment with strong leadership and/or management experience is required
