Data Insights Manager

This role focuses on developing strategies and tools to enhance analytics capabilities, driving growth and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Insights Development:Transform raw data into business insights through advanced analytics.Drive strategic data projects to support data-driven decision-making.Automation and Reporting:Automate standard reporting for operations, management, audit, and regulatory purposes.Develop statistical models and data visualizations to support insights.Data Quality and Improvement:Ensure data quality and develop action plans for improvement.Plan and implement data structures, process flows, and visualizations.Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance product offerings and organizational growth.Lead analytics and customer insights functions, including reporting and predictive analytics.Stay current with statutory and legislative requirements.Identify solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.Skills and Experience Required:Experience: 5 – 8 years of experience in data analytics and business problem-solving.Technical Skills:Solid understanding of AWS, DatabricksProficiency in statistical software (SAS, SPSS, R/Python).Knowledge of data query languages (SAS, SQL, VBA).Experience in data visualization and communication.Industry Experience: Experience in Short Term Insurance is a plus.Education:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.* In order to comply with the POPI Act, for future career opportunities, we require your permission to maintain your personal details on our database.
