Data Insights Manager

The Data Insights Manager is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights to support a channel-led organization. This role focuses on developing strategies and tools to enhance analytics capabilities, driving growth and operational efficiency.  Key Responsibilities:Insights Development:Transform raw data into business insights through advanced analytics.Drive strategic data projects to support data-driven decision-making.Automation and Reporting:Automate standard reporting for operations, management, audit, and regulatory purposes.Develop statistical models and data visualizations to support insights.Data Quality and Improvement:Ensure data quality and develop action plans for improvement.Plan and implement data structures, process flows, and visualizations.Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance product offerings and organizational growth.Lead analytics and customer insights functions, including reporting and predictive analytics.  Continuous Improvement:Stay current with statutory and legislative requirements.Identify solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.  Skills and Experience Required: Experience: 5 – 8 years of experience in data analytics and business problem-solving.Technical Skills:Solid understanding of AWS, DatabricksProficiency in statistical software (SAS, SPSS, R/Python).Knowledge of data query languages (SAS, SQL, VBA).Experience in data visualization and communication.Industry Experience: Experience in Short Term Insurance is a plus.  Education:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.  * In order to comply with the POPI Act, for future career opportunities, we require your permission to maintain your personal details on our database.
