Data Engineering Specialist

Requirements:A Masters Degree in  Computer Sciences or Data SciencesCertifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and Microsoft products (e.g., Power BI, Dynamics365)Responsibilities: Responsible to design and build data pipelines and efficient data flows required by various data models of both transactional and analytical solutions in a wide variety of areas across the businessDesign, write, and deploy high volume data applications to ingest, transform and store data to be used for reporting, business processes and AI modelsAnalyze and improve efficiency, scalability, reliability and performance of data platforms and system infrastructureConsult with stakeholders across the firm to translate business and analytics requirements into technical solutionsWrite and deploy ETL applications and scripts across a range of data sources and storesPracticing disciplined software engineering (e.g.. automated testing, code reviews and writing clean, pragmatic code)Actively contribute to team and company standardsCreate data artifacts for record keeping purposesBuild data pipelinesWork with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver data solutions aligned to the firm's BI, AI and automation strategy (e.g.. capture requirements, plan for dependencies, drive data exploration and preparation projects, participate in data collection and integration exercises, deliver machine learning (ML) modelling, management, and problem
