Data Engineer – Cape Town – Century City (Hybrid) – Paying R900K+ P/A + Perks

This is what you need to land an interview:

5 to 8 years of proven experience as SQL and T-SQL (not your drag-and-drop kind of coding)
Solid understanding of relational databases, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
High level skills in T-SQL, query plans, and the RDBMS Engine
Deep love and understanding of DevOps principles, and experience with relevant tools e.g. Azure DevOps for CI/CD Pipelines, automation, GIT, and infrastructure management
Experience with Azure Cloud technologies: Databricks, Event Hubs will win you points
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as experience in a high transactional environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
