Overall Purpose of the Position:The purpose of this role is to provide basic and comprehensive data management expertise to the data management team and to provide efficient, quality data management. The Data Coordinator ensures the accuracy of the data and acts as a resource to all users of the database.Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Accurate and timeous processing of data.Assisting in the maintenance of Data Management study files.Performing data management tasks, pertaining to the Data Management Plan.Performing quality control procedures.Assisting other team members in training and developing data management expertise.Understanding and complying with core operating procedures and working instructions.Performing other duties as directed by the Functional Manager.Meeting objectives as assigned.Working with the overall project team (i.e. Data Manager, Customer, Project Management, Clinical, & Biostatistics as needed) in defining DM timelines/deliverables for the project.Communicating ongoing project deliverables to the Data Manager and ensuring adequate progress is being made toward deliverables.Ideal RequirementsRelevant tertiary qualification in clinical, biological, mathematical sciences, or nursing.
