Data Center Specialist - Cloud Continuity

Our client is a fast-growing tech-firm in the heart of Johannesburg is seeking a Data Center Specialist.
This role is a central point for evaluating, optimising and standardisation of managed Azure and Continuity services. It focuses on the enablement of the operational teams to effectively deliver on required service levels and the optimisation of the services on a proactive basis.
Requirements: 7 years' experience supporting enterprise scale back up and have a thorough understanding of system backup and recovery methods and techniques.7 years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution.In-depth understanding of commercial backup offerings of the major vendors. For example, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam etc.Backup technology Certifications: Specialist or higher in at least two backup technologiesExperience with various Microsoft Server Operating systemsExperience with VMware virtualization technologies and principlesExperience with storage area network technologiesExperience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCPGood understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings, capabilities, and limitationsQualifications: Backup technology Certifications: Specialist or higher in at least two backup technologiesMust be Certified in Microsoft Azure AZ900 (Fundamentals) and AZ104 (Administration)Certification in AZ304 and AZ305 (Architecture solutions)Certification in AZ500 (Security)Certification in AZ500 (Security) RTR-FA DML (Record to Report - Financial Accounting)Product Master & Stock DMLFTD DML (Forecast to Deploy)EAM DML (Enterprise Asset Management)
