Data & Analytics Business Unit Lead

We are looking for a passionate Data Business Unit Manager to join our senior management team. You will report directly to the COO and lead & grow our superb in-house, client facing business unit. This role will be client facing as well as internally focused growing and managing a large team of consultants to effectively deliver incredible customer technology professional services.
You will be responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the business unit and full Profit & Loss.
Your duties will include managing & developing all consultants, running & growing the business unit, resolving client & delivery issues, formulating & implementing growth and retention strategies as well as meeting business unit financial targets.
You will also be responsible for leading and guiding on determining the right architectures for large scale cloud transformation projects including supporting the response to client proposals and bids. Develop proof of concepts and make recommendations on best practice reference architectures including on re-platforming or re-architecting applications.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to define, articulate and implement operations strategies to complement the organization's objectives and meet revenue targets.
You will have excellent leadership and communication skills to successfully provide guidance to your team, and you will have a vast knowledge of current delivery and engagement trends for data and customer journey enterprise cloud software and services.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and grow client relationships & partnershipsProblem solver - must be the level of escalation to be able to diffuse and resolve complex client delivery issues at a senior level Internal Operations:Be a great leader and be willing to invest business and personal time in building teams inside and outside the officeHelp establish policies that promote company culture and visionHelp establish and grow the existing business unit as well as new onesGrow high performing teams and drive throughputPlay a key role in retaining key staffAnalytics - conduct business analyses, performance analyses, competitive analysesWork with HR to attract, retain, manage and develop the best peopleWork with finance to ensure Business Unit and Practice targets are metWork with Sales and Marketing to ensure business units are developed and growing - provide critical subject matter expert content to sales proposals and marketing contentWork with software vendors and OEMs to develop the partnership and meet targetsAdopt standard processes, best practices and operating procedures inside the business and innovate around ways of workingRequirementsKnowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree ideally in technology (Business with MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems)5-7 Years Fluency in Data services, tools and applicationsProven experience in combining complex data signals and campaign results into actionable insights and recommendations.8-10 Years proven track record for success in leading advanced Data teams and building out best-in-class capabilities. Experience creating business value from Data offerings.Delivered exceptional client value through assessing current application landscape, recommending and delivering future state cloud architectures.Provide a new perspective to tough technical challenges and crafting solutions.
