You'll collaborate with stakeholders, extract relevant datasets, and maintain data profiles. Additionally, you'll contribute to the design and implementation of automated data solutions which solves for self-service data extraction. Are you someone who can: Stakeholder Expectations Management: Understand and manage stakeholder expectations related to data analysis, reporting, and insights. Communicate effectively with business teams to align data requirements with organizational goals. Project Kick-Off and Data Requirements: Participate in project kick-off sessions to identify data needs. Determine data requirements based on project objectives and stakeholder requests. Data Analysis and Manipulation: Analyse existing data within the tests environments. Identify gaps or missing data and manipulate datasets to improve data completeness. Collaborate with other teams to enhance data quality. Business and Testing Requirements: Gather data requirements from business and testing teams. Translate business needs into specific data requests. Daily Dataset Extraction: Extract relevant datasets daily to fulfil logged requirements via ServiceNow. Ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Data Profile Maintenance: Maintain data profiles in various environments. Monitor and Maintain data quality and integrity. Investigate discrepancies and take corrective actions. New Product/Project Analysis: Evaluate whether the current dataset can meet testing requirements for new products or projects. Provide insights on data availability and limitations. Automated Data Solutions: Design and implement automated solutions for data creation, maintenance, and extraction. Streamline data processes to improve efficiency. Promote innovation in streamlining some of the manual processes. Data Management: Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders and testing teams to optimize data workflows. Test Environment Data Maintenance: Create and maintain data in test environments. Align data with testing scenarios and requirements. Data Extraction for Requirements: Analyse tests and business requirements to extract relevant data. Provide data extracts for testing, reporting, and analysis. Desired Experience: The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:
Data Analytics Data Science Proficiency in basic SQL, Java, Python, Excel or other data manipulation tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with data profiling, ETL processes, and data quality management. National Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, or a related field in IT. #FNB
