Data Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, sorting, filing, cleaning, managing, and manipulating data from various sources daily. You will work closely with our Rating Specialists to ensure accurate and efficient handling of all incoming data. You will be working with BBBEE & ESG related data which is received in various formats.
Key Responsibilities: Collect and process data from multiple sources daily.Clean and manipulate data to gather the required information.Sort, file, and manage information systematically throughout the data lifecycle.Collaborate with the Rating Specialist to manage and control all incoming data.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all processes.Develop and maintain databases and data systems to improve data management efficiency.Generate reports and provide data and statistical analysis to support decision-making processes.Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly.Assist in the development of data management policies and procedures.Qualifications / Attributes: Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python).Strong Excel SkillsLogical applied use of various pivotal formulasVLOOKUP / XLOOKUPSUMIFSLENCONCATEtc..Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Team Player, pliable, quick learner, perform under high pressure.Knowledge of B-BBEE compliance and regulations is a plus but not a necessity.
