Overall Responsibility: Support the On- and Off- Prem Group Account team with sales information and Channel data insights.
Focus Area 1: Sales Forecasting Leading indicators: Group account sales volume forecasted by region/brand/district/account by day. Identify volume opportunities: Provide accurate daily actionable data insights on how group accounts will achieve its sales volumes. Model stock projections: Assist key account managers with forecasted distribution centre orders for upcoming weeks to ensure adequate stock to flow to retail outlets. Focus Area 2: Sales Reporting FSM level push reporting on group account level. Month-end reporting (S+M accruals, draught throughput, sales incentives & growth incentives) Assist sales channels with weekly performance reporting. Compile weekly Regional Account and National Group account reports. Assist key account managers with buyer meeting market share insights. Compile monthly sales and merchandising partner reports on performance and actionable data to drive sales. Monthly Market share analysis and reporting through the true data portal. Focus Area 3: Reporting on Sales Drivers (Sales Force Inputs) Provide Group Account Managers with weekly insight-packs which unpacks the SHP sales drivers. Assist regions and sales force with actionable sales driver gaps that need closing. Focus Area 4: Data Management Retailer data harvested and uploaded. Retailer mapping in Qlik. Focus Area 5: Conduct Annual Market Potential Study Assist in conducting an annual market potential study resulting in a set of strategic recommendations on volume growth as well as sales force market penetration. Use MPS information to provide recommendations for market positioning of NPDs. Use MPS study information to recommend switching on new sales areas. Focus Area 6: Key Set of Insights and Strategic Recommendations Provided Based on in-depth analysis, produce an ongoing set of strategic recommendations to channel managers and key account managers.
Focus Area 7: Key Account Data Analysis, Administration and Reporting Customer Master Data Management in terms of segmentation, classifications and prioritisation. Administration of new listings, ranging and availability matrix. Sales, price and inventory analysis across multiple group accounts. Assist head of group accounts with price tracking and reporting on entire business price compliance across all channels and segments. Provide regions and sales force with price compliance gaps to close. Design, analyse and populate end to end customer margin analysis. Predictive analytics on campaign alternatives in retail groups. Support Group Account Managers with weekly site cover reports. Administration of the handheld-tool tasks and surveys and implementation tracking. Administration of the discounting Calendars and coordinate discounting processes. Communicate monthly sales packs to S+M partners. Support Group Account Manager with day-to-day portal administration such as loading new listings, deals and price changes. Focus Area 8: Trade Surveys Monthly in-trade and online price surveys on SHP and competitor offerings. Identify and analyse new product, consumer and market sales trends. Record, monitor and evaluate competitor activations in trade and online. Evaluate in-store stock rotation and S+M efficiency. Reporting to Group Account Managers on in-trade impressions. Identify new consumer mediums for Group Account Managers to explore. Requirements of the Role: Qualification(s) in Business Science, Engineering, or Data Science. Proficiency in coding. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Two years of relevant experience in a similar industry. Strong administrative skills.
