Data Analyst (Credit Risk Analyst)

The candidate must have a:Completed BSc Honours (Computer science / Maths / Financial Maths / Engineering)3-5 years relevant Credit Risk Analyst / Data Analyst / Data Science experience from a Financial Services or Retail environmentProficiency in SAS coding, SAS SQL, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Intelligent Decisioning, and DS2Exposure to API Software preferred.Please note this is an office-based position, situated in the Sandton area.Reporting to the Risk Executive, the candidate must have 3 - 5 years experience from a Financial Services or Retail environment in the following:Strong understanding of the overall credit system flow and how it connects with credit strategy and business rules.Ability to analyze credit data to answer business-related questions.Experience developing new credit rules and strategies would be an advantage.This is a growing, fast-paced division, and they seek a smart, skilled, and dynamic candidate with a strong communication skill set, able to contribute to the data, analytics, and business case for the department.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
