Data Analyst (Credit Risk Analyst)

The candidate must have aCompleted BSc Honours (Computer science / Maths / Financial Maths / Engineering)with 3-5 years relevant Credit Risk Analyst / Data Analyst / Data Science experience from a Financial Services or Retail environmentand be proficient in SAS coding, SAS SQL, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Intelligent Decisioning, and DS2 Exposure to API Software preferred.Please note this is an office based position, situated in the Sandton area.Reporting to the Risk Executive, the candidate must have 3 - 5 years experience from a Financial Services or Retail environment in the following:Strong understanding of the overall credit system flow and how it connects with credit strategy and business rules.Ability to analyze credit data to answer business-related questions.Experience developing new credit rules and strategies would be an advantageThis is a growing, fast paced division, and they seek a smart, skilled, and dynamic candidate with a strong communication skill set, able to contribute to the data, analytics and business case for the department.
