We seek a proactive and highly motivated Data Analyst to join our client's team in Cape Town. You will work closely with the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to generate regular and on-demand reports for internal stakeholders and teams across all investing entities.You will utilise a rapidly growing dataset for both regular and ad hoc reporting, monitor real-time forecast returns for multiple investment funds, and contribute to the company's ongoing efforts in automation and process enhancement.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of periodical reporting outputsLeverage the system's rapidly expanding dataset for regular and ad hoc reportingWork with various internal departments to monitor forecast returns across multiple investment funds on a 'live' basisSupport the company's ongoing push towards automation and process improvementHelp support the quarterly/annual reporting processProvide assistance with other ad hoc reporting requirementsQualifications:3-5 years of experience in a similar roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in EnglishStrong proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience in analysing data and presenting clear, concise summaries preferableKnowledge of Anaplan preferable, but not essentialOur client is a renowned global alternative investment manager, specializing in managing funds for pension funds, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, and other investors.
