Overall Responsibility: Support the Supply Chain team by providing valuable insights through data analysis and reporting. Assisting management decision-making and continuous improvement across supply chain operations.
Focus Area 1: Data Analysis and Reporting Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to assess performance, uncover trends, and support forecasting.Create and manage detailed reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory levels, transportation costs, order fulfilment rates, and on-time delivery.Focus Area 2: Demand Forecasting and Planning Develop and maintain demand forecasting dashboards.Build and update models for optimal inventory levels, focusing on daily deployment and decision-making through DOC reports.Build and track models to measure and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.Support export and contract manufacturing through OTIF (On-Time In-Full) metrics.Focus Area 3: Supporting Supply Chain with Live Dashboards Automate and consolidate Logistics KPI trackers into self-refreshing dashboards.Maintain and enhance OTIF and Out-of-Stock (OOS) reporting tools.Focus Area 4: S&OP Report Development and Support Collaborate with the Planning Manager to prepare Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) decks, focusing on template automation.Support Supply Chain Manager with monthly Exco pack presentation build – i.e. Automating templates.Focus Area 5: Collaboration and Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, logistics, production, sales) to align supply chain objectives and strategies.Communicate supply chain insights, findings, and recommendations to management.Requirements of the Role: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Advanced proficiency in Office 365, particularly Excel, with experience in Power BI and Qlik for data visualization. Programming skills (e.g., SQL) are advantageous.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.Preferred Skills/Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and supply chain management software (Syspro, Oracle, etc.).Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Familiarity with supply chain and logistics indices and data models.Attention to Detail: Ability to notice small details that could affect supply chain operations.Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze data and identify key insights for decision-making.Problem-Solving: Able to identify issues and implement effective solutions within supply chain processes.Teamwork: Comfortable working collaboratively across multiple departments.Adaptability: Willingness to adjust plans based on changing market conditions or business priorities.NB: Specific duties/responsibilities will vary from time to time: the above list is intended to indicate the general nature of the post and is not exhaustive.
