CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER - Cape Town - Permanent
We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer - Networks & Firewalls - Endpoint - On-site role

Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years' experience (10 years might be preferred) as a Cyber Security Engineer working with Networks, Firewalls and Endpoint Security.
Certification & Proficiencies:
• Palo Alto Networks Systems Engineer (PSE): Foundation.
• Palo Alto Networks Systems Engineer (PSE): Strata Associate.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate – CCNA.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer - PCNSE6.
• ITIL Foundation v3.
• Cortex XDR.
• CCNA Networking and CCNA Security certification will be an added benefit.
Main Duties:
• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments using CIS and ISO27001 standards, ensuring robust security measures are in place and compliance with international best practices.
• Implement MFA strengthening user authentication and access control.
• Deploy perimeter and core firewalls enhancing security measures and fortifying network and security infrastructure.
• Develop and implement projects tasks related to Firewalls and Endpoint security using validated designs and industry best practices.
• Provide first and second-line technical support.
• Implement Secure Networks and Systems.
• Implementing Security Protocols and Measures.
• Continuous Monitoring for Security Breaches.
• Incident Response and Recovery.
