Icebolethu Group is looking for an objective Cyber Security Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's digital assets, ensuring Information System Security, monitoring for potential vulnerabilities or breaches, and responding to incidents in a timely manner. The role will be based at our Offices at No.: 225 uMbilo Road, Durban within the Group ICT Department, a division of Icebolethu Group.
Minimum QualificationsMatric Certificate - (Grade 12 or equivalent).A Diploma or Degree in ICT Security, ICT Risk, Cyber Security or relevant field will be beneficial.Valid Driver's License.Experience and Knowledge RequiredMinimum of 3/5 years ICT Security or Cyber Security experience (minimum of 3 years in Cyber Security a must).Proven experience as a Cyber Security Technician or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of security protocols, tools, and techniques.CISM, CISA, CRISC or CISSP Certification advantageous.Skills and Competencies RequiredKnowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms.Experience or knowledge of SOC solutions.Knowledge of Data Backup solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
